Phillipine Mtikitiki is the Regional Franchise Manager - Angola and Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland (ABLNS) for Coca-Cola Southern Africa. She leads ABLNS region, providing strategic and operational expertise to drive the execution of the business plan. Working closely with the Franchisees of The Coca-Cola Company in each country to capture opportunities in the market place.
Phillipine is a seasoned leader with 18 years Coca-Cola system experience. She started her career journey at The Coca-Cola Company on a one year intensive management training program. She then spend 13 years in operations working for Coca-Cola Fortune and Coca-Cola Shanduka Beverages where she held different roles of increasing responsibilities in sales, operations, operation marketing and general management. Some of her achievements in these roles includes management of virtual teams in different locations, setting up of successful strategic distribution partners, sales organizational redesign, high customer service excellence, business growth and a strong diverse talent pipeline.
In 2011, she rejoined Coca-Cola Southern Africa as Channel Manager for Traditional Trade and Wholesale for South Africa. In 2013 she became Head of Commercial Planning. In these roles she has been instrumental in stewarding shopper and channel strategy, leading strategic projects and developing commercial planning processes
Over and above her job responsibilities, she is currently serving as the Global Co-Chair for the 2017 Women’s Linc Global Leadership conference.
In her career tenure Phillipine has been recognized for a number of awards including the best practice activation award for main market in 2003 and the coveted Global Shopper award in 2015.
Phillipine holds an Economics Honors Degree from the University of Kwa Zulu-Natal and an MBA from the University of Reading, Henley Business School.
She currently resides in South Africa, Johannesburg with her husband, two daughters Sibusisiwe and Esona as well as her son Okuhle.
